ABOUT OUR
EVENTS —
As our wounded service members are healing in body, mind and soul, we hope to be a part of that healing process. It’s our goal to give these brave men and women the opportunity to take a break from grueling rehab at the hospital by enjoying a day of fun, fishing, floating and fellowship.
We provide a great day of adventure on Canyon Lake during our summer lake day events that begins with boating, fishing, a Texas brisket lunch, some water sports, and relaxation.

This outing was one of the best times that I have ever had on the water. The great job that the volunteers have done is beyond verbal expression. The day totally took my mind off of the medical conditions that I have and the sense of failure that many of us Wounded Warriors have…We as Soldiers temporarily forgot about our missing limbs and disabilities.

OFAS 5K Fun Run/Walk – 4/21/2018
In honor of the daily sacrifices made by the brave men and women in all branches of the United States Military, Operation Float A Soldier (OFAS) will host their annual 5K Fun Run/Walk in conjunction with the 20th Annual Canyon Lake Chamber BBQ Cook-off at Joint Base San Antonio Recreation Park – Jacobs Creek Park on Saturday, April 21st, 2018 in Canyon Lake, TX.
